Log Sales
At Matson, we harvest logs from some of the finest timber areas in North America.
Our experience in managing timber and producing logs for our own sawmills, makes selling logs a natural part of our business. Matson has been producing and selling high quality Veneer and Saw logs for more than 30 years.
The common species that come from our logging area include Red Oak, White Oak, Cherry, White Ash, American Beech, Yellow Poplar, Hickory, Hard and Soft Maple. Common applications include fancy plywood panels, door facing, flooring and furniture. Our logs are used in Flat Sawn, Rotary Cut, Rift and Quarter Sawn products.
